Their work gives a detailed look into the past and promises great innovations in the future. Johnston explains how analyzing ancient mummies can lead to advances in mechanical engineering, including how jet engines are designed [03:30]. He also tells us how the collaboration developed by accident and where he thinks his technology will be useful in the future [11:01].
